It was all about yesterday when I
along with my friend was inside the Sacristy, a room
for keeping vestments and other Church furnishings, sacred
vessels and parish records preparing for the Holy Mass- there
was a almirah which was placed to the left side corner of the Sacristy. The almirah was divided into two equal racks
one towards the left and the other towards the right.
The one on the left was
further subdivided in to two equal sub racks in which The Cruets, Chalice,
Ciborium, Paten etc were kept, and to the right side it was Mother Mary’s
statue which was wrapped in a white cloth and kept sacredly and safely.
On getting ready for the mass I
realized that Manuterge, the name given by the Roman Catholic Church to the towel used by the priest when engaged liturgically was not kept on the Altar, so I went back to the Sacristy open the almirah to take out the Manuterge that's when I saw Mother Mary's statute stained with red tears which flowed down from her eyes, the whole of the white cloth which was wrapped in was stained with the tears of blood. I was left stunned with wonderon what could have happened within fraction of minutes. Unable to think any further I rushed back to the priest who was about to start the Holy Mass. On reaching back to the Sacristythe priest himself was also left stunned.
To my surprise I don’t
know how I saw my mom accompanied with two ladies who were
strangers coming towards me and gave me consoling embrace. All seemed like
fantasy for me because I stayed far from home for my higher studies. I was left
blank clueless, did not understand what I was witnessing. What I could recall, was only the conversation that we both had. She said “All the confusion that
you have will be soon clarified “I wondered why she was talking to me in such a
way” she continued “Do not be afraid, am St.Euphrasia, all the trails will soon
come to an end, strengthen up your Faith and lay your Trust in Thy
workings “On hearing this my eyes were in tears. Everything being clueless I
closed my heavy eyes in utter despire.
That’s when I realized
my pillow was completely wet and my tears continue to flow…………………….
That night I was in
great dilemma to sort out all that I have witnessed………………….
